Our Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies Division is looking for a V.I.E. CAE/Durability Engineer for its Jangan Office based at Hwaseong (South Korea).
The CAE/Durability Engineer is responsible for the CAE/Durability tasks related to the program developed by AFO Korea, for the definition, transversalisation, application of technical standards and activities related to the improvement of knowledge in CAE simulation and Durability analysis.
He/she produces the design recommendation optimized for the design in development with the associated documentation.
He/she also should take part in the research and development of new methodology for simulation and new process, work closly with expert team to take part in the material selection in the process of programs’ development.
The main missions of the role are to:
To be the unique contact of the project team about CAE/Durability and to bring a strong support to the Product Engineer (PDL).
To guide the design (participation to the feasibility reviews and DFMEA, risks analysis, lessons learned) by dimensioning the product according to Durability specifications requested by the customer
To take part in issuing the validation plan, the timing plan and the budget corresponding to Durability activities and to appropriate the project timing plan to ensure Durability works to be performed according to the program milestones
To define the list of input data and to be proactive in their collect by the Product Engineer (PDL), to validate with him the considered assumptions
To perform or pilot the CAE simulations and the tests’ follow-up: analysis of the results (simulations and tests) and validation of the report.
To propose, at each evolution, alternative solutions and suggestions related to the risks analysis (Product and planning)
To validate design orientations regarding the Durability targets (participation to Design Reviews and validation of status)
Review materials in BOM with support of Material network.
This V.I.E position will start as soon as possible for 24 months.
The ideal candidate should be/have:
Master of Engineering (or equivalent) with competencies in mechanical and thermomechanical durability, modal behavior, corrosion and materials
Knowledge of predictive calculations and physical testings
Knowledge in the following tools: AQABUS, NASTRAN, HYPERMESH
Basic knowledge in production process : steel forming (tube and sheet metal) and welding assembly
Team work with strong competencies in communication
Capacity to integrate a matrix organisation
Fluent in English and able to work in an international
