The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Your position and environment?
Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Business Group – North America Operations (NAO) Division is looking for you as a VIE Program Purchasing Leader m/f for our Clean Mobility Crossroads site in Columbus, IN, USA.
Your role and responsibilities?
The role of a Program Buyer is to anticipate the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and to ensure the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the acquisition. The role continues to select and pilot suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives.
Your main missions will be to
Support the Program Buyer, who is a member of the core program team, from the offer conception phase/Pre-Requisition for Quotation Approval (RFQA), and involve expert suppliers in the Pre-RFQA phase.
Assist in directing performance follow-up during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews, or « gate » reviews are supported within the framework of the Program Management System (PMS).
Enter requisitions into SAP system and track approval.
Collect supplier RFQ packages and submit and extract in Global Purchasing System.
Assist in APQP items.
Attend multiple meetings, documenting notes, providing feedback, and delivering results.
The mission will last 18 months.
Who are you?
Master’s degree in engineering or Supply Chain with a specialization in international purchasing, or related diploma
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Program Buyer in an industrial environment
Fluent in English
Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to work in a matrixed organization
International mind set, overseas experience a plus
