Our Automotive Seating Business Group is looking for a Metal Forming Engineer for its site at Stadthagen (Germany).
The main missions of the role are to:
Support the global deployment of the forming process standard.
Supports the development team by doing feasibility assessment.
Feasibility assessment for stamping parts by using stamping simulation.
Monitors and reports the feasibility status of the stamping parts.
Leading the related experimental study as part of process development.
Takes part in the design reviews with the development team for stamping parts.
Continuous improvement of simulation methods for other materials like aluminium and processes like tube forming and joining by forming.
Create interface between stamping and crash analysis to optimise the product behaviour.
The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master degree in a technical field
Experiences in sheet metal forming and tooling conception
Experience in simulation tools, like Hyperworks and LS-Dyna or others
Knowledge in metallic material, material properties and plasticity
Ability to work in team, flexible, able to work with different cultures
Able to communicate in English
