Your position and environment?
Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group
- North American Operations Division is looking for you as a VIE Faurecia Excellence System (FES&P) and Productivity Engineer in our Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States location.
Your role and responsibilities?
Your main missions will be to contribute to plants performance and profitability with direct labor and TVO (Total Value Optimization) focus and the FES operating principles application including
At Plants level, provide support for FES X.0 Implementation including Health and Safety, Quality, Production, Logistics and Production system based on Lean Manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets.
Follow up of the FES X.0 fundamentals deployment plan of the plants, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.
Provide, according to the needs, FES knowledge and skills to the plants team through training, coaching and education.
Propose and promote best practices between the plants (FES Network)
Participate in Division level workshops to test the new” lean concept” or advanced tools.
Follow the TVO productivity actions with the plants, animate and participate to workshops
The mission will last 18 months
Who are you?
Master’s degree in Engineering
Fluent in English
Minimum 1 year of working experience within a production environment
Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus
Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
Ability to train and coach
Continuous improvement mind set
Ability to master change
Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans
Able to travel to different plants in US and Mexico to support the plants if needed
