Fast Track Diagnostics, a Siemens Healthineers company, develops and commercializes worldwide multiplex real-time PCR (RT-PCR) assays to detect a wide range of viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. We are ISO 13485 certified since 2011. Our kits are used in all size labs, in the public and private sector. Biologist (M/F) Your responsibilities: Work as a member of the research team assigned to specific development projects Create and/or develop new products, or improve/ modify existing products Perform product testing and evaluation using scientific principles Plan projects, develop schedule and provide interim status reports Work with external collaborators Document all stages of development and modifications in compliance with R&D procedures Your profile: MSc. or BSc. as Biologist or Biochemist Experience in Real time PCR or Molecular Diagnostic Experience in life science industry will be an advantage Good knowledge of common software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Fluency in written and spoken English; any additional language will be considered an asset Ability to work individually and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Will to work in an international team within a highly collaborative environment The position will be based in Luxembourg.
