If you are aged 18-20, interested in working in the Arts sector and unemployed we have a great opportunity for you! We are looking for a diverse and motivated team of young people to work with us over a 6 month period as part of a paid internship.
This internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme, which is is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector. We are currently looking for people to intern as ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. You will need to be available to work for up to 30 hours per week from May 31st until November 18th 2016. If this interests you please read the job description below.

JOB TITLE: Assistant Stage Manager (Intern)
DURATION: 26 Weeks
REQUIRED START DATE: 31st May 2016
HOURS (weekly): 30
SALARY: £318 Fortnightly (£5.30 p/hr)
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Stage Management internship will include working in our office and/or across other London Theatres and studios to assist where necessary during rehearsal, productions and the likes. You will learn what is involved in Stage managing for live arts projects and may also assist as part of the technical for various film projects. Where interns maybe pursuing specialist skills (Ie, design, sound etc) interns may be required to spend a portion of their internship focusing their skills in this area. This internship is especially relevant for those dedicated to pursuing a career in Technical Theatre.
