Shoemaker assistant

Job description

We are a small company based in London that design and make handmade fetish footwear and accessories. We have vacancies for several interns to join the design and production team. You will be required to work with the shoemaker, following instructions. You should be able to work on your own and as part of the team. You must be willing to learn new skills and put to practise what you have leant previously, you must be creative and have a good hand skills. Common sense and problem solving skills essential. Previous experience in shoemaking is required.

You will be required to assist with:
Pattern cutting
Upper Cutting
Lasting
Sole preparation
Heel covering
Packing
