Job description
A 6-month contract, this position will report to the EMEA Director of Marketing and support the EMEA digital marketing programs and campaigns for promoting awareness, as well as lead generation for F5 solutions. The Marketing Intern will work closely with F5’s Marketing Operations, Regional Marketing team, Business Development team, Marketing Services, Global Marketing Campaigns team to create awareness with F5’s target IT audience via the digital and social sphere. The Digital Operations Marketing Intern project will support the creation of marketing strategies in line with the F5 corporate objectives, to include collaboration with content experts, managing digital media vendors and marketing resources for digital demand generation.
The Digital Operations Marketing Intern will be integrally involved in creating and managing the EMEA Webinar Series in 7 languages across EMEA. In addition the Digital Operations Marketing Intern also assist in lead conversion analysis, target market analysis and in supporting the digital marketing strategy development by working with the field teams.
Responsibilities
• Assist the drive of the digital marketing programs which include awareness creation, brand and thought leadership amplification and demand generation to meet the needs of the EMEA marketing team.
• Collaborate with the EMEA field marketing managers and Corporate Communications, to support the creation of digital media programs directed at the F5 target end user audience.
• Understand and build relationships with the key movers and shakers in the EMEA digital media landscape to help identify better ROI for F5’s paid media programs.
• Research digital marketing campaign tools and strategies to maximize F5’s reach to the target audience.
• Support the efforts of the digital co-marketing program with technology partners for a more formalized and consistent partner marketing engagement.
• Learning use of Company marketing automation system leading to the capture of leads and creating and managing programs within the System.
• Create weekly and quarterly performance reports of the marketing campaign performance and ROI against goals.
• Track the allocated digital marketing budget in support of the lead generation campaigns, research other tools and methods for demand generation, and benchmark F5’s marketing performance against industry and internal standards.
• Assist in the EMEA Webinar Series, collaborating with Product Marketing Manager to extend our reach across EMEA.
• Support the Field Marketing Managers to extend the digital marketing program into the local sales regions, and incorporate field marketing programs into the overall campaign planning process.
• Travel to internal sales meetings, Business Development partner accounts and trade shows/events, and field marketing events when needed.
Desired profile
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Recent Graduate of Marketing or Business Studies degree course with emphasis on Digital Marketing
• Understanding of marketing programs including conceptual proposal, marketing and competitive analysis, execution and reporting performance.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Understanding of budgets, managing vendors, and tracking Purchase Orders.
• Working experience in web marketing, web content management, and electronic media an advantage.
• Experience developing collateral, both hard copy and online an advantage.
• Marketing Automation System knowledge would be an advantage
• Some experience developing online demand generation programs and campaigns would be an advantage
• Understanding of the social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc would be an advantage.
• Flexible attitude, willing to step in and assist any member of the Marketing team as required.
• Strong attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
• Duties may require occasional land and air travel to a ttend shows and events,.
