You will ideally have an honours degree (2:1 or above) in business or a related discipline, or have the drive and interest to develop a strong working knowledge of the business and procurement world. The role is open to recent graduates and experienced applicants looking to start a career in bid writing.

Main Duties

  • Researching and developing your knowledge of procurement, and of a wide range of industries and services
  • Working with clients to realise their goals
  • Managing client relationships and maintaining existing bid libraries
  • Completing pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs)
  • Providing technical and commercial writing skills, displaying creative flair in tender submissions
  • Reviewing successful and unsuccessful submissions, feedback and lessons learned to promote continuous improvement

  • Outstanding writing, editing and verbal communication skills
  • Should be fully conversant with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Strong general IT skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious
  • Show high levels of commitment and initiative to ensure winning submissions

Some travel may be required for the purpose of client meetings (all travel expenses are paid)
