Job description

International shipping company requires commercially minded and focused staff to work within their export/import department.

The role will involve assisting the Export & Import co-ordinators to dispatch all documentation (instructions, manifests, bills of lading etc) for both Export & Import Shipping containers. The position also requires accurate checking of the documentation, invoicing, and filing to ensure that quality standards, procedures and requirements are met. The position involves liaison with commercial clients, overseas agents and other departments with regards to ongoing traffic.
Staff will also be involved in booking and monitoring DHL and UPS shipments on a daily basis.

Excess Baggage Group Limited is involved in significant expansion in the UK, European and worldwide marketplace. Successful candidates stand to gain significant hands-on operational experience which may help with progression within this organisation, and/or with other companies both in the UK and overseas.
