Job description
The term of employment is limited to 4-6 months.
- Support Evonik's Life Cycle Management group in their projects
- Identify, test and evaluate new indicators, impact assessment methods, etc. for Evonik (e.g. renewable raw materials, land and water use, biodiversity in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems)
- Connect Life Cycle Assessment results with process design and optimization
- Model Life Cylce Assessment in GaBi 6
- Master or End-of-Bachelor science or engineering student
- Interest in environmental, technical and economic topics
- Knowledge about balancing of material and energy flows; knowledge of process modelling Software (e.g. Aspen) is a plus
- First experiences with LCA software packages (e.g. GaBi) advantageous
- Basic knowledge on the assessment of environmental impacts and toxicology advantageous
- Independent & target-oriented work, creative thinking
- Combination of internship with Bachelor /Master thesis possible
- Fluency in English, basic level German advantageous
We offer you the opportunity to gain practical experience in a paid internship and to experience the work of a process or chemical engineer in the chemical industry.
It will give you the opportunity to apply your knowledge from lectures to working life.
We will assign tasks in the areas of process technology and engineering, integrated into specific projects with good intern support.
The length of the internship will be a minimum of 12 weeks, preferably 4 to 6 months. The internship can be done in conjunction with a thesis.
