An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ettington Park Hotel for a Full Time Receptionist. This position is a full time role (working approximately 40 hrs/wk across 5 days)
Job Purpose of a Receptionist
To assist the Front of House manager and Reception Supervisor in delivering 4 Red Star Standards and ensuring a high degree of customer care
Responsibilities of a Receptionist
- Take responsibility for the day to day running and efficiency of the Front Office
- To provide customers with a high degree of professionalism
- To check guests in and out to a 4 red star standard
- Reservation enquiries dealt with promptly
- Banking
- Comply with all legal fire and health & safety responsibilities
Requirements of a Receptionist
- Ability to deputise in the absence of the Reception Supervisor
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Previous experience of working with a PMS system Opera desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- A natural people person
Previous hotel experience in a similar role is essential
Applicants must be flexible as shift patterns will vary. Typical shifts will be from either 7am to 3.30pm or 3pm to 11.30pm including weekends.
