Technical Training Officer
Based in Halesfield Telford
Salary £25,000pa
My Client is the largest manufacturer of own label and branded household disposables in Europe. Serving Europe's leading retailers and distributors, with products being used by millions of consumers on a daily basis. Are looking to employ a Technical Training Officer tasked with: Training of workforce, ensuring a consistent approach to training across the business, ensuring confidence that all employees are given the right skills to be fully productive.

Principle Accountabilities
1) Identify training and development through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments;
• Ensuring comprehensive training documents are written and adhered too.
• All employees trained to a consistent standard across the business.
• Continuous Improvement to become an integral part of the Company Culture.
• Writing of and delivery of training materials (manuals and SOP's) to train production workers how to do their job.
2) Ability to train in the following areas:
Convertors, Extruders, Printers, Blending equipment, SPC, Continuous Improvement plus any other technical area needed to do their job.
3) Providing appropriate external providers where appropriate.
4) Designing and expanding training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual;
• Considering the costs of training and keeping within budgets
• Developing effective induction plans
• Supporting appraisal completion.
• Producing training materials for in-house courses;
• Ensuring statutory training is completed and recorded.
• Evaluating training courses.

Keeping up to date with developments in training.
• Considering the costs of training and keeping within budgets

Appropriate training method and root for individuals and the Company in line with budgetary restrictions.

Qualifications and Experience required
Required Qualifications (School, University degree etc.)
Good General Education including Maths and English GCSE
Proven Training Experience within a Factory environment, ideally with Polymers.
Ideally HND / HNC level
Required Experience/Knowledge
Previous training experience and working in a factory environment.
