Based in TOPI factory, Binan, Laguna, PHILIPPINES, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, we offer you a very challenging position that is a springboard for your international career within Essilor.

You will work as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer who will be in charge of supporting TOPI Operations initiatives for the continuous drive towards Optimal Asset Utilization and operational Excellence by challenging the existing operational processes and identifying and actively facilitating the delivery of major improvement opportunities.
Key responsibilities as follow;
- CI engineer will ensure the Diagnostics, Deployment, Roll out and Sustainability of Lean Initiative for Excellence (LIFE) system which are effectively delivered to maximize the chances of success.
- Work closely with other team members, plant leadership team and will need good Influencing skills and drive for results.
- Conduct diagnostics by using LIFE tools (VSM, VA/NVA, etc) to find opportunities for improvement and clearly define and prioritize short term actions.
- Lead the deployment of LIFE system by creating a model line in one workshop to achieve targets.
- Sustain LIFE system implementation by leading the regular audits, ensure SOPs are established and roll out to all workshops of the plant.
- Lead the skills development and management ability through LIFE academy.
- Lead the TOPI team in the preparations, updates in LIFE steering co-meeting.
- Identify and define the need for Kaizen (Rapid Improvement Workshops) in all areas to support business goals.
- Do routine benchmarking with LIFE leaders in other facilities to identify best practices and training opportunities for the local team.

Qualification;
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2 years’ working experience is a plus
- Proficient in the use of improvement methodologies such as Lean, VSM, QRQC, Problem solving, etc.
- Very good English command both verbal and written communication
- Required competences for the job: Influencing skill, Total Work Systems, Motivating Others, Interpersonal Savvy, Drive for Results and Managerial Courage
