Each year, Erste Group gives a group of bright and highly skilled university graduates the opportunity to discover the world of our banking group. The Group Graduate Programme is a rigorous series of classroom and distance learning sessions, on-the-job training, and medium-term project work. The programme also creates and fosters a diverse and wide-reaching business network within Erste Group.
YOU:
... have a high interest and know-how in financial topics and markets
… have achieved a university degree specializing either in financial markets or banking, business administration or economics or a university degree in related disciplines (for example law, information management) with a high interest in banking and finance
… gained first working experience in the financial industry in a junior position or an internship (minimum 6 months of employment, preferably at Erste Group)
… possess strong personal and social skills including excellent cross-cultural communication skills
… are fluent in English (excellent written and oral communication skills) as the whole programme will be conducted in English
... possess excellent written and oral German skills (necessary for specific business areas as indicated below)
… demonstrate flexibility, work independently and achieve results as part of a team
… act as a perfect team-player and are also prepared to work under pressure and more than the average
… are willing to travel internationally and to undertake assignments abroad
WE:
... provide a 18-months, highly intensive graduate programme (internal and external education combined with practical experience) within different business areas
... offer you to work in one of the following business areas from the beginning on: data specialist for real estate, corporate client executive (German required), Transaction Banking Sales Manager (focus Trade, Export & Supply Chain Finance; German required), Product Manager Securities (German required), Project Manager in the Corporates & Markets area
… will give you the opportunity to explore from the beginning on one of the business areas mentioned above and will mutually agree on an allocation to a specific department after the 18 months programme
… develop a career plan within one of the major financial institutions in the CEE region
… give you the opportunity to be highly visible, and to work and have fun in an international team
