The opportunity 

 

EY is looking for Senior Associate for Technology Consulting in the execution of client’s assignments. 

 

Your key responsibilities: 

· 
Working closely with the solution team in solution implementation activities, including requirements assessment, development, configuration and maintenance of the IFRS17 solutions  

· 
Participate in solution design workshops for the IFRS17 implementation and advice on best practices for designing complex and multi-solution architectures.  

· 
Leverage technology to continually learn, improve service delivery and maintain our leading edge best practices 

· 
Understand, communicate and assess major risks and issues that may potentially occur during the IFRS17 implementation 

· 
Support solution vendor on the end-to-end system and User Acceptance Testing preparation and execution

To qualify for the role, you must have 

· 
Bachelor Degree with at least 2 years’ working experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry 

· 
Good understanding of actuarial / finance processes and methods 

· 
Proficiency in Base SAS, SAS Macro programming and querying large data using SQL 

· 
Proficiency in configuring SAS products – SAS Data Integration (DI), SAS Infrastructure for Risk management (IRM), SAS Risk and Finance Workbench (RFW) and SAS Visual Analytics (VA) 

· 
Candidate with background in working on IFRS17, IFRS9 or other regulatory reporting would be an added advantage 

· 
Good communications skills and evident working with people and teams from different ethnic backgrounds 

· 
Good presentation skills and proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

· 
SAS certification such as SAS Foundation Tools certification 

· 
Involved in full cycle of system implementation projects 

· 
Have working exposure in insurance industry at least for a year
