Technology Consulting, Cyber Security - Splunk Services (Manager)(Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.
Plan, implement, upgrade, and assess security solutions security solutions for client organizations and support clients in protecting the business against cyber threats and meet social media, massive data storage, privacy requirements, and continuity of the business. Provide consulting services to clients in developing technology solutions for complex information security needs and business resilience. Assess information security tools to fight against cybercrime and respond to computer security breaches and viruses. Plan, Pursue, deliver, and management projects and engagement teams of professionals to assess, improve, build, and operate integrated cyber security operations for clients.
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Cyber Security, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate consulting work experience in cyber security. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Cyber Security, or a related field and 4 years of consulting work experience in cyber security.
Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in information security systems implementing Splunk technical infrastructure.
Must have 4 years of experience in at least three of the following cyber security concepts: vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
Must have 3 years of experience in Splunk Core and Splunk Enterprise Security, and 1 year of experience in Splunk Phantom.
Must have 3 years of experience in at least one of the following:
- Networking (TCP/IP or OSI model),
- Operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, Linux, or mainframe),
- Security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, or similar),
- Application programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Python, Shell, or similar).
Must have 3 years of experience in process definition, workflow design, and process mapping.
Must have 2 years of experience managing cyber security professionals.
Must have 2 years of experience presenting to executive level client stakeholders.
Must have 2 years of experience managing large-scale projects/program OR managing multiple projects across different geographical locations at the same time.
Requires domestic and international travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
