M&A success starts with comprehensive diligence, it's the only way to understand if the deal is the right decision at the right price.

 

As a Transaction Support Manager you'll be right at the heart of the action. You'll work with many of the world's largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the most complex deals. You'll be advising our clients throughout the diligence lifecycle on key drivers to increase value and reduce the risks and uncertainty inherent in transactions.

The opportunity

We are seeking highly intelligent and motivated people for our Transaction Diligence Analytics (TD Analytics) service line. Transaction Diligence provides business, financial and accounting due diligence services in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and other transactions. As a member of the team, you’ll help to provide strategic counsel to corporate and private equity leaders. You’ll have direct access to strategists and decision makers, managing directors, chief financial officers and corporate development officers.

 

What to expect

In this role, you will acquire some of the most “in demand” skills across transactions, accounting, finance, and analytics in the marketplace today, learning from talented colleagues on challenging assignments. You will have a blend of experiences including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, as well as new analytics-driven solutions which enhance our client’s decision making.  You’ll be analyzing large and complex datasets and building sophisticated transaction driven analysis to help address our client’s challenges in fast-changing markets.  You’ll be expected to present your findings in a way that’s easily understood by transaction professionals at all levels.  No two clients are the same, and since you’ll be involved across multiple project, you’ll find your work varies from day to day. Whichever industry or project you’re working on, we’ll support you in using your accounting, finance and analytics skills to their full potential.

 

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business with a proven interest combined with either significant coursework or prior professional experience with data analytics
·  A desire and ability to travel while working in the fast-paced TD mergers and acquisition-oriented environment
·  A proactive nature with ability to multi-task
·  Interest in working independently as well as part of a team including strong communication skills
·  Excellent problem-solving skills
·  Strong financial, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
·  A strong work initiative, high energy level, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
·  PC proficiency including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
·  Familiarity with a broad base of analytics tools / applications including: Programming languages (Python, R, etc.), Analytics Platforms (SAS, Azure, etc.), Statistical Packages (SPSS, Minitab, etc.), Data Visualization (D3js, Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, etc.), and Data Management (Hadoop, SQL, Alteryx, etc.)
