The Opportunity
As a Senior within the Strategy and Transaction team, you'll participate in due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers, you'll analyse the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management. You'll make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects. You will contribute technically to modelling engagements. You'll also develop the ability to build a cash flow financial model and be able to contribute to the drafting of the financial sections of tender documentation. You'll work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include preparing the analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation, perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information. You will assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring. Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. You’ll also be responsible for conducting performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff, contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining Transaction Support professionals. You’ll maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis, understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.

To qualify for the role, you must have
· Around 1 - 2 years’ experience in a Corporate Finance Environment
· Qualified CA (passed Part 1 and 2 of the Board Exam) or is theoretically qualified and in the process of completing articles
· Strong academic record including a degree
