The Opportunity

We are seeking professionals to join our growing Strategy and Transaction (SaT) team. As part of a global team you will support teams in advising clients on various matters including transaction support, corporate finance, feasibility studies, financial advice, valuations and policy driven projects, amongst others.

Your key responsibilities  

At EY, working in a team work means coordinating with other team members to deliver a seamless, integrated approach. Your key responsibilities will include:

·  Supporting the team on the execution of  project work 
·  Performing macro-economy, industry and company research 
·  Analysing business performance and forecast assumptions
·  Writing reports that set out our findings and recommendations 
·  Supporting with client proposals and pitches

 

Skills / Attributes for success

·  Strong drive to take new work initiatives and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
·  Analytical, report writing, organizational, interpersonal and teaming skills
·  Good  understanding of company, industry, economic research, financial statements and valuations
·  Good understanding of corporate transactions and funding mechanisms
·  Excellent problem solving and project management skills
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

What you need to be in possession of :

·  Be in possession of  a qualification in business or finance studies.  Economics, banking and finance qualifications will be considered
·  Ideally have some working experience inprofessional services (e.g.financial services)or similar field
·  Be highly numerate with strong attention to detail
·  Possess excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights 
·  Havestrong reporting skills and ability to clearly convey complex concepts(e.g. accounting, financial, economics)
·  Be a team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels
