Strategy Advisor, Business Design, (Life Sciences) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.

Help clients in the life sciences sector define and plan effective execution of their strategic direction and vision. Work with a broad spectrum of life sciences organizations including biotech, pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers and wholesalers. Advise clients on how to translate corporate strategy and business insight into change to impact the client’s organization or functions within it. Help clients improve business performance by providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits. Provide performance strategy and performance benchmarking services. Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Advise clients on growth strategy, the strategic planning process, operating model design, and strategic investment analysis. Conduct corporate-level financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical opportunities for EY service offerings within the company’s Performance Improvement division. Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, in order to build benchmarks to help clients identify and quantify improvement opportunities. 

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 
Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Science or related field and 4 years of work experience. 

Must have 3 years of experience in at least 4 of the following competencies: value creation/growth strategy, strategic planning process, operating model design, strategic investment analysis, enterprise cost reduction, brand strategy, competitive analysis, commercial operations, marketing and sales effectiveness, data analytics, business intelligence, research and development, or clinical research and operations. 

Must have at least 3 years designing solutions in an external client-facing role. 

Must have 4 years of experience managing and developing a team of staff/senior consulting professionals. 

Must have 4 years of Medical/Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry experience and/or experience in providing advisory/consulting services in the medical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries. 

Requires domestic travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
