EY’s Valuation, Modeling & Economics practice is currently looking for potential candidates to join our VME team in Vietnam as a Consultant or Senior Consultant.

Responsibilities:

1. For Consultant level:

·  Assist Seniors to perform the analysis of historical financial performance and financial position in the business valuation for various purposes (e.g. M&A purpose, tax purpose, financial reporting purpose, purchase price allocation, etc.);
·  Assist Seniors to perform the economy analysis;
·  Assist Seniors to perform the research of comparable companies and comparable transactions which are used as inputs of market-approach valuation;
·  Assist the audit team to review the valuation reports prepared by other valuers (e.g. property valuation reports, Purchase price allocation report, goodwill impairment review, etc.) as an audit procedure;
·  Discuss the assumptions that Clients are using in their business plan

2. For Senior Consultant level:

·  Assist Managers to build the financial model in the business valuation for various purposes (e.g. M&A purpose, tax purpose, financial reporting purpose, purchase price allocation, etc.);
·  Assist Managers to review and build complex and dynamic financial models in various sectors to support clients in sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and investment return analysis;
·  Assist the audit team to review the valuation reports prepared by other valuers (e.g. property valuation reports, Purchase price allocation report, goodwill impairment review, etc.) as audit procedures;
·  Discuss the assumptions that Clients are using in their business plan;
·  Coach and guide other junior team members

You are expected to:

·  For Consultant level: Be able to work independently with frequent communication with Seniors/Managers;
·  For Senior Consultant level: Be able to work independently with little inspection from Managers/Partners;
·  Have high commitments and good can-do attitudes;
·  Be able to work under pressure with tight schedule;
·  Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams
·  Develop positive, productive and professional relationships with colleagues and clients
·  Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility towards engagement team members

Skills and Experience:

We are interested in candidates who have:

1. For Consultant level:

·  Strong accounting and financial background (with 1-2 year working experience in audit will be preferred);
·  Ability to build basic financial models;

2. For Senior Consultant level:

·  Strong accounting and financial background (with 2-3 year working experience in audit will be preferred);
·  Ability to build complex and dynamic financial models;

Ideally, you will also need to have:

·  Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Audit, Banking
·  Working experience as M&A advisors, financial due diligence advisors will be a plus;
·  Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
·  Excellent analytical, project management, multi-tasking, communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
·  Ability and flexibility to work alongside team members to ensure the timely completion of work deliverables;
·  Having good learning attitudes, diligence and paying attention to details;
·  Experience working with public data sources and analyzing economic indicators
