EY's Technology Solutions Delivery Practice assists our consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle enterprise level IT architecture initiatives. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business in the digital age.

Your key responsibilities

This position will be responsible for identifying and defining customer requirements and focusing on developing technical solutions using development tools and methodology. Focus on developing software components and services which interact with the upstream and downstream components. Codes, programs and creates specifications to deliver technical solutions that support business requirements. You would assist clients on their enterprise applications implementations. You will also provide business development assistance.

Skills and attributes for success  

·  Assist clients on enterprise application implementations like ERP applications, reporting applications, middleware applications, etc. 
·  Play key role in design, development, testing, deployment of ERP projects or similar enterprise applications
·  Design technical solution for data migration, integrations, reporting solutions for ERP projects or similar enterprise applications
·  Ensure best practices and quality processes are followed by enforcing coding standards (SDLC guidelines), Unit Tests and performing code reviews
·  Develop solutions following Agile & DevOps methodologies
·  Work with delivery lead on solution deployment approach and estimation
·  Team with client technology professionals, and work in project teams through agreed upon phases of requirements definition, design, development, testing, training and rollout of an ERP project
·  Establish and track quality related KPIs, quality checkpoints, quality assessment reports and corrective measures for technical development
·  Take ownership of deliverables and conduct reviews with clients and seek sign-offs 
·  Work back with the distributed teams through SDCs and ODCs  
·  Translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications. Documenting requirements using appropriate content & formats (e.g. process steps, flow diagrams, desired outcomes, examples, etc.) mapped to corresponding business process. Following-up & clarifying when requirements are incomplete, conflicting, ambiguous, or changing over time
·  Modeling effective collaborative behaviors when working with individuals, teams, and suppliers

To qualify for the role you must have  

·  A bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of related work experience in implementing Oracle ERP applications or similar enterprise applications
·  2 or more years in technical development (conversions, reports, interfaces, workflows, user interface, mobile applications, etc.)
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues, and recommendations
·  Highly organized, detail oriented, independent, and resourceful
·  Experience with project management tools 
·  Experience with DevOps tools 
·  Experience with Agile practices and associated tools
·  Able to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot issues
·  The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel 70-90% of a work schedule 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics or related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
