(Senior) Consultant - Business Consulting Finance

Business Consulting Finance works with clients to address critical issues of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), creating value and delivering world-class future finance capabilities.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams for some of the biggest and most recognized corporate companies in the world, applying the latest technologies, to help drive their business performance and digital finance transformation agendas that make a real difference to our working world.

A focus area for us is Finance Strategy & Operating Model – defining what the strategy is for the digital finance function, designing and implementing the target operating model.

To support the growth of our team, we are looking for a highly motivated ( Senior) Consultant.

You will build strong relationships within client organizations, working with them to understand their most critical business problems and priorities, consulting with your EY peers to evaluate, design, and deliver solution that leverage cutting edge technologies.

You will also be highly organized, capable of coordinating your own workload, meeting deadlines, proactively managing risks and delivering quality outcomes.

You will add measurable value to your clients by addressing their biggest problems and priorities, including the need to:

·  Define a Finance Vision and Strategy, including translation of enterprise strategy, business model change and external drivers (e.g. finance technology disruption) into requirements for Finance
·  Conduct accelerated finance diagnostic, maturity assessment and benchmarking
·  Design and implement new Finance Operating Models
·  Develop Financial and non-Financial benefits case
·  Build roadmap for future Finance vision
·  Implement new technology solutions in Finance (e.g. ERP, Intelligent automation, Process mining, etc.)

 

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  Master degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent
·  Experience in management consulting or in the delivery of large scale Finance & Operating Model programs in the industry ( 1-2 years of experience for Consultant and 3-5 years of experience for Senior Consultant)
·  Prior experience with technologies such as RPA, process mining, etc. is a plus
·  Fluent written and spoken English and  Dutch and/or French
·  Proven ability to engage, manage and build relationships
·  Strong attention to detail, with the ability to storyboard and create high quality outputs
·  Excellent problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills
·  A proven ability to team effectively with diverse groups
·  Willingness to travel (in line with COVID-19 governmental regulations)
