Toronto EY actuarial & risk modeling team is hiring top Tech talent.

As a full stack developer, you will be part of a rapidly growing team that develops and delivers new tech solutions in the finance and insurance world. You will help us to design and develop solutions, transform client data and test the solutions, etc. We expect you to work with your team across many implementation cycles to deliver best-in-class solutions. The best Developer have a wide range of skills and is comfortable with learning new technologies and solutions as well as working with peers and clients.

SkillsAnd Attributes For Success

We’re most interested in developers passionate to new technologies with a experience building apps in finance or insurance sector. You’ll also need to be a great communicator, as well as flexible in the face of often rapidly changing projects. You should have:
·  2+ years of experience as a developer – Frontend, Backend & Database
·  Backend – Experience with one of Flask, Node.js, Java or other popular backend frameworks
·  Frontend – Experience with Native JavaScript as well as experience with one of React, VueJS, AngularJS or other popular frontend frameworks. SASS/ Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks.
·  Database – Experience with relational (SQLite, PostgreSQL etc) and NoSQL database technologies (MongoDB)
·  Solid understanding of object oriented programming
·  Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms
·  Background in Computer Science, Finance or Insurance
·  Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
·  Ability to work under minimal supervision, problem solving, ownership
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills

·  Experience working on apps in financial sector
