We are looking for strategy professionals to join our rapidly growing team in Ukraine at the Senior level. As part of EY Parthenon Strategy, youwill have the opportunity to deliver projects that make a strong impact on the region and develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior in the strategy consulting practice,you will have a key role in the execution of the strategy and implementation services in Ukraine.
You can expect to spend most of your time working on strategy-related projects which include (but not limited to): long-term strategy roadmaps, growth strategy, market entry & expansion strategy, go-to-market strategy, business-wide digital transformation projects, commercial due diligence, and greenfield projects.

Your clients may include global corporates, governments and public entities, family conglomerates, and sovereign wealth funds, as well as local leaders in their respective segments, and up-and-coming new generation companies from both Ukraine and the region. TheEY-Parthenon Strategy team typically works directly with C-Suite executives on their strategic and transaction decisions.

Also, you will:

·  Interact with clients and senior team members from the start
·  Contribute to problem structuring and clarification of key issues
·  Suggest approaches to analyze and address the issues
·  Collect and analyze information, incl. conducting client interviews
·  Draft conclusions and possible recommendations
·  Prepare documents for client communication, incl. proposals and project documents
·  Motivate and counsel junior team members

 

Skills and attributes for success

As a strategy consulting professional, you should be able to:

·  Develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, portfolio optimization and operational modeling.
·  Collect, analyse, and translate large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into realistic plans, goals, and actionables.
·  Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.
·  Identify the multitude of “endgame” scenarios for long-term client development, and reverse-engineer those to evaluate the tools and resources necessary to achieve the optimal long-term objectives
·  Understand and be able to recommend how digital transformation may affect the client’s strategic development

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  At minimum, a bachelor's degree from a top ranking school with outstanding academic performance
·  Professional services and/or consulting engagement delivery experience with at least 3 years of related work experience
·  Strong analytical and financial/operational modelling skills
·  Strong numerical skills, including on-the-go mental calculations
·  Ability to make detailed assessments of industries,products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities, employing multi-layered and non-linear data analysis
·  Excellent knowledge of English, Ukrainian and Russian
·  Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

·  A master’s degree from a top tier business school.
·  Prior experience in a (strategy) advisory company and/or in a corporate strategy/business development department.
·  Experience in managing teams and administrating complex projects
·  Excellent knowledge of and systemic interest in modern technologies, digital transformation solutions and approaches
·  Ability to work independently and manage projects and teams of junior professionals without daily supervision by the managers
·  Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
