The opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Auckland-based Rewards Consultant to join our nationally-recognised specialist People Advisory Services team . This role is offered on a flexible full time basis.
Your key responsibilities
· Help clients design and implement remuneration and reward plans which support the business and HR strategy
· Consult on remuneration strategy, remuneration frameworks, remuneration benchmarking, short and long-term incentives and executive and director remuneration
· Participate in Reward engagements
· Work effectively as a team member; sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
· Broaden your interest in market practice, both national and international
· Use market data to inform remuneration decisions
· Develop financial analyses and models for incentive plans
Skills and attributes for success
· A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or Finance with strong academic credentials preferred
· 12 months minimum of relevant experience post-graduation, ideally in either a large organisation or within a consulting or professional services environment
· Experience of people and remuneration consulting projects would be beneficial
· Analytical skills, possibly with knowledge of financial modelling
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Strong proficiency on MS systems, especially Excel
· Excellent time management capabilities
· Strong attention to detail skills
