The opportunity
EY Law in Australia is part of the expanding EY legal network with offices in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Middle East and the Americas (practising non-US Law) with a truly global footprint, comprising over 3,500 lawyers across 87 countries. As such we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Coordinator to work with our high performing team and play an integral role to the success of our practice. This role is Sydney based and would suit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, has a keen interest in process improvement and enjoys collaborating with others to drive the right outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
· You will primarily assist our Law staff with the practice management and administration – directly communicating with internal EY stakeholders and clients and managing team administration and workflows.
· Assist staff with the client engagement process
· Create and deliver clear and accurate instructions and expectations for projects to our lawyers
· Manage and maintain infotrack and legal subscriptions
· Manage the practice document management system
· Manage the Australian Pro-Bono requirements
· Assist with generating engagement and pipeline reporting
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
· Previous office and/or practice management experience
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge across all Microsoft Office product suites
· Advanced administrative skills
· Proven experience in effectively managing a broad stakeholder group and building trust and credibility quickly
· Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to influence and pull the right levers to drive the right outcomes
· Calm and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to serve the needs of the wider team to enable them to deliver exceptional client service
· Solid relational skills; enjoy meeting new people, developing relationships and learning from others.
· Creative and innovative outlook and ability to produce new ideas and concepts
· Strong knowledge-sharing mindset
· Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality outcomes
· Professionalism and integrity
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Previous experience in a legal environment and an understanding of how a legal practice operates
