The Opportunity

The Personal Tax Centre in Newcastle provides taxation services to thousands of clients, from individuals to large financial institutions.

We are looking for people who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with others and have good relationship building skills to join our Tax Reporting team. The Tax Reporting team works with a number of financial institutions, assisting them with the accurate reporting of tax events and information to their clients. Your Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Data Assistant your primary responsibility will be to work as part of a team, producing a large number of high quality tax reports for high net worth customers of banks, wealth and asset management companies and any other clients. As part of the role you will be required to analyse complex banking transactions and reconcile any changes that need made. You will be building and managing relationships with your clients and colleagues, and providing support to other team members when necessary. You will be expected to work collaboratively with people within your team and also in other EY offices.

To qualify for the role you must have

·  An Undergraduate degree in any discipline at 2:2 or above
·  Willing to study towards a professional qualification
·  Eligible to work in the U.K.

Ideally you’ll also have

·  Financial services experience
·  Experience working in a professional environment is preferred but not essential
·  An awareness of Personal Tax and how EY works with our clients
