The HR Compliance Coordinator assists with the following functions:

·  LEAD Tickets 
·  Tuition Reimbursements 
·  Other Certification Reimbursements 
·  Professional Certification Bonuses
·  Actuary Reimbursements and Salary Increases
·  Charitable Contributions
·  Performance Based Bonus Compliance Disputes
·  Records Management Processes
·  Life Events
·  Electronic Personnel File (EPF) Management and Requests 
·  Exit Interview Administrative Support
·  TSS Immigration & I9 Project Support as Needed 

 

The opportunity

 

The HR Compliance Coordinator role is an excellent way to expand your knowledge of EY and gain exposure to firm policies and internal HR processes.  This is a backfill for a HR Compliance Coordinator recently promoted within EY.  

 

Your key responsibilities

 

·  Perform duties and responsibilities with limited supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures
·  Process and/or review more complex transactions of a Human Resource nature
·  Perform detailed reconciliation and balancing of HR transactions.  Escalate questions and/or discrepancies
·  Proactive communication with field members of the Talent Team, other EY personnel and external parties regarding processing issues
·  Identify and propose solutions on transactions issues to leadership
·  Prepare, contribute, and run reporting as directed
·  Meet production volume and quality standards as outlined by department management
·  Assist with special projects as requested  

 

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

 

·  Respond to customer needs and inquires by analyzing the activity and performing necessary and appropriate action to reach resolution, including non-routine inquires.
·  Use proven judgment and experience in applying concepts and guidelines
·  Follow through on commitments and take responsibility for results
·  Effectively prioritize assignments and identify and propose solutions for barriers to leadership

 

Supervision Responsibilities

 

·  Performs duties and responsibilities with limited supervision in accordance with policies and procedures.
·  The Operations Coordinator has proven experience and abilities to provide coaching to less experienced team members.  

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

·  Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and document transactions and issues with minimal supervision, following standard TSS procedures
·  Understand the expectations of customers and deliver services that exceeds customer’s needs within department guidelines.  
·  Effective verbal and written communication skills
·  Exhibit a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job
·  Work effectively with others within TSS, the field, other EY personnel, and external parties
·  Proficient with Firm standard technology including Windows, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Intranet, and other related applications
·  Anticipate clients’ needs and identify and resolve issues that impact the delivery of quality service  

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

·  High school diploma or equivalent work experience
·  Specific knowledge of HR functions preferred
·  Approximately 1-3 years related experience preferred
