The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director to join the Talent Development team as our Graduate Onboarding and Experience Manager. This is a permanent role open to all locations. This role will ultimately oversee the entire experience of a graduate from their onboarding experience into their first year.
The primary purpose of the Oceania Graduate Onboarding and Experience Manager is to lead the onboarding graduate programs across the region that enables an exceptional first year experience or all news graduates in the region. This involves project managing, deployment, delivering and the evaluating of the Graduate Onboarding curriculum across the Oceania region.
Your key responsibilities
· Designing, developing and deploying a cross-service line graduate onboarding strategy that involves understanding the graduate agenda, that works across all service lines
· Working closely with the Oceania Cross Service Line Lead and CDP Lead to build our people’s capability in support of implementing graduate onboarding initiatives, monitor the progress of initiatives and make the necessary adjustment to make them successful
· Leading the implementation and deployment of the graduate onboarding curriculum and leading its continued deployment and assessment across the Oceania region
· Managing and implementing graduate onboarding strategy and programs across the Region
· Gathering inputs from Region Talent functional stakeholders or SLs as needed to develop/coordinate program material/outputs
· Setting up and maintaining graduate communities as well as automated communications tograduates and ensuring off-cycle graduates are included in all communications and communities
· Ensuring regular networking and social events are held within each location for an opportunityfor graduates to build cohorts and connections – which could involve managing volunteer teams of graduates and budgets to ensure these events occur on a regular basis
· Providing ongoing coaching and education to Talent / business on the process / their roles
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Strong project management skills
· Demonstrated success in building solid internal and external relationships at a senior level with a proven track record of success in driving a learning agenda
· A minimum of five or more years’ experience in a L&D/HR environment
· Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, with strong evidence of self awareness / versatility
· Solid influencing skills to work with many diverse stakeholder groups
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Strong team worker with ability to coordinate and work as ‘one team’
· Ability to ideate and think differently about learning deployment
· Solid commercial acumen and business awareness
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
