We’re looking for an experienced actuarial professional to join our team and to assist us with numerous projects in the Life Insurance field.

Your key responsibilities   

·  Participate in the technical delivery and reporting for projects, taking ownership of at least one major workstream;
·  Communicate with client contacts and help manage expectations of delivery, content, timescales and cost;
·  Participate in the preparation and presentation, to clients at senior executive and board levels; Assist in responding to client proposals;
·  Contribute to projects as a topic / subject matter specialist
·  Play your part in the development of intellectual property to support sales-oriented client interaction;
·  Develop people through effectively coaching and mentoring more junior staff; and
·  Play a role in team administration tasks - such as feedback, counselling, finance, recruitment, learning, etc. 
To qualify for the role, you must have     
·  3 - 5 years of experience in life or health insurance sector gained from working as an actuarial professional either in an insurer or at an actuarial consultancy firm;
·  You will be a qualified or partially qualified actuary and have a degree-level qualification;
·  Proven math and analytical skills, as acquired through a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or other quantitative degree
·  Experience in reserving under Solvency II and current accounting standard for Life and Health business;
·  Experience in stochastic valuation techniques;
·  A committed approach to continuous professional development is required.  

Ideally, you’ll also have  

·  Effective communication skills and the ability to deal with outward-facing client management on projects and on-selling;
·  The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels; 
·   Experience in supervising workstreams and individuals.
·  Experience in pricing techniques and product development will be positively evaluated;
·  Experience with PRIIPS requirements will be appreciated;
·  Modeling skills in actuarial software such as AFM, Prophet, Moses etc. will be positively evaluated;
·  IFRS 17 knowledge will be considered an asset
