IT Analyst, IT Advisory (Transformation) - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.
Analyze business problems and help companies develop and implement information technology (IT) solutions. Analyze and define user requirements and design, develop, and deploy IT strategies, programs, and solutions focusing on transformational IT initiatives. Confirm projects and programs related to computer systems and IT solutions are aligned with clients’ business goals, objectives, and expectations. Advise clients on maximizing the value of their IT solutions through leading methods in Agile, SLDC, Lean PM, Earned Value, Rapid IT delivery. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40 - 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience supporting the delivery or improvement of IT services and systems. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field and 4 years of work experience supporting the delivery or improvement of IT services and systems.
Must have 3 years of relevant work experience at a financial services company, or 3 years of comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering IT advisory services.
Must have 2 years of experience with at least 3 of the following Technical Competencies:
- IT systems integration and separation
- Technical delivery and agile transformation
- IT transformation/complex program management
- Program/portfolio architecture
- Business and IT alignment
- IT organizational change management
- IT cost optimization and budget/financial and enterprise resource management
- IT service/delivery management, including shared services.
Must have 4 years of experience scheduling and delivering technology implementations that include multiple components with tight interdependencies and governance.
Must have 2 years of experience with delivery efforts that include configurations, release, change and demand management within a fixed budget.
Must have 4 years of experience using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio.
Must have 4 years of experience with end-to-end IT delivery, including scoping/sizing a project; staffing a team with the appropriate skill set; providing subject-matter direction and guidance to a team; managing communications with the project sponsors; and managing the delivery of a work stream.
Must have 4 years of experience in managing the technical aspects of a project from initiation and requirements through design, build, testing, and implementation using Agile, Waterfall, or similar framework.
Must have 4 years of large-scale, portfolio, program and project management experience.
Must have 4 years of experience with PMBOK, Prince2, Scrum, SAFe, or other related framework. This experience must include process areas such as scheduling, budgeting, resource, and quality management.
Travel required approximately 80%, of which 20% may be international, in order to serve client needs.
