The opportunity
Global Compliance and Reporting is an integrated suite of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to our multinational clients. GCR offers the ease of managing compliance & regulatory filings by: 
•    Taking care of the complexity of regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions 
•    Centrally managing the global compliance and reporting activities 
•    Controlling the cost of managing compliance across various countries

Your key responsibilities
We are looking for an editorial talent and expert for English language who is interested in Tax business and has an eye for detail with regards to layout and formatting of PowerPoint files. Acting as a proof-reader and formatting reviewer, you will perform quality checks on reports, with a focus on grammar, spelling, consistency, application of US or UK style as well as the compliance with writing and layout standards as per the EY brand guideline. Besides, you will make suggestions on rephrasing and better structure of content.

Skills and attributes for success
•    Proofreading to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax (main responsibility)
•    Preparing, rewriting and editing text to improve readability
•    Verifying facts, dates, and statistics
•    Text sanitization / anonymization
•    Reviewing and adjustming of reports per the report standard regulations in terms of layout and formatting
•    Meeting deadlines and client requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Min. 3 years of related editorial experience
•    Experience in reviewing files in terms of layout and formatting
•    Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal combined with interpersonal and teamwork skills
•    Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
•    Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work efficiently and effectively

Ideally, you’ll also have
•    An eye for detail and a very accurate style of working
•    Ability to relate work to specific instructions
•    Relentless focus on the customer service and attention for detail
•    Good at concentrating for long spells
•    Self-motivation
•    Excellent work ethic and the ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment
