About GDS Assurance:

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance practice supports global EY client-serving teams with their reviews across industry sectors, including financial services, manufacturing and technology, among others. Through the right multidisciplinary team of professionals with the sector knowledge and subject matter expertise, EY GDS Assurance enables EY client teams in over 30 countries to help world’s leading companies meet their assurance requirements.

 

Position Summary:

An Associate would be responsible for managing his own Portfolio engagements along with teams of senior and team leaders handling client service delivery for a geography, area or specialization. The principal objectives will be to ensure that consistent, and high-quality service is provided by the team by taking end-to-end project ownership and accomplishing the define goals. 

The incumbent should continually look for improvement and opportunities to add value and follow a proactive approach.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

·  Managing the global, priority accounts for the designated region /area
·  Assist engagement teams with various processes, such as multi-location coordination, engagement economics, confirmations, project and database management, and valuation of investment securities
·  Need to do chargeable work execution on engagements assigned
·  Contribute and add value to complex engagements 
·  Ensuring that the work is reviewed thoroughly before the output is sent out as per the deadline
·  Monitor own operational measures (e.g. utilization and KPIs).
·  Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the teams by having an open and honest communication
·  Proactively reaching out to the teams soliciting feedback for the work and taking appropriate action
·  Work proactively with leaders and peers by providing status updates and escalating issues on a timely manner

 

Qualifications, skills and experience:

·  Graduation degree (i.e. Commerce/ Business Administration) with 0-1 year of general business and Project management experience
·  Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and facilitation skills
·  Strong computer skills, viz. proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Outlook and Internet.
·  Proactive, organized and self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task
·  Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization, organization, flexibility and self-discipline
·  Attention to detail
·  Desired additional language capability, e.g. Japanese
