Positio n: Junior Forensics Consultant

Job Description:
Ideal candidate:
· Education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics supported by subjects like Statistics, Computer Science, etc.
· Professional experience in analysis of large data sets and developing reports to track performance, identify KPI’s and perform statistical analyses would be considered as an advantage
· Knowledge in AML/CTF/KYC, fraud bribery and corruption, sanction regimes within the financial sector or similar experience within a consulting firm with similar activities would be considered as an advantage
· Experience in working with Excel and other database and reporting tools
· Basic analytical and drafting skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team under pressure in challenging environment
· The candidate must be available to travel and occasionally work flexible hours
· Excellent communication skills – being able to collaborate daily with various units, managers and clients, which can sometimes be located outside of Bulgaria
· Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English is required
· Knowledge of another language (German/Russian) would be preferred
Main responsibilities include:
· Participates in fraud and investigation projects, performs the necessary procedures, providing high quality technical and consulting expertise
· Participates in the implementation of work plans
· Effectively works as a team member, shares responsibility and provides support to senior consultants and / or managers in connection with engagements
· Periodically informs the senior consultants and managers about the progress of the tasks
· Supports the preparation of meetings with the teams of key clients and participates in these meetings
· Assists in the preparation of reports and plans that will be provided to customers and third parties
· Applies Ernst & Young's global forensics methodology to various client engagements
· Complies with commitment budgets
· Implements data analysis procedures
· Understands and follows work policies and procedures
· Performs substantive procedures for clients or internal controls for clients, and tests the effectiveness of these controls
· Prepares the results and contributes to the discussion of the project strategy during meetings of the work planning teams
· Archives the engagement
· Develops and maintains productive working relationships with customer staff
· Constantly develops his/her technical competence
· Constantly develops his/her personal skills and competencies
· Accumulates knowledge of risk and quality management policies
