Financial Services Risk Management Advisor, FSRM (Enterprise Governance Risk Management) - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Pittsburgh, PA.
Serve domestic and global institutions in regard to helping them transform their enterprise governance, risk and controls activities. Responsible for managing large scale complex multiple million-dollar projects to C-suite and business/functional leads across banking and capital markets, insurance and asset management. Manage engagement across the following services: governance and oversight; risk strategy, operating model and workforce transformation; process, risk and control optimization; digital risk; risk analytics, testing, and monitoring; technology enablement and innovation and model risk management. Work closely with the business and second line functions, such as operational risk management, to develop long-term client relationships, understand the changing business and regulatory environment and actively assess/present ways to serve clients.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelors work experience in financial enterprise risk management. Alternatively, must have a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 4 years of work experience in financial risk management.
Must have 4 years of experience in risk management within the banking and capital markets, asset management, or insurance industries. This experience must include a specific focus on enterprise risk management.
Must have 4 years of experience in risk governance (including risk operating model, risk policy, appetite or culture)
Must have 4 years of experience with projects involving the design or operation of elements of the risk management life cycle (including risk identification and profiling, risk assessment and measurement, risk metrics and monitoring or risk measurement) in the banking and capital markets, asset management, or insurance industries.
Must have 1 year of experience in Enhanced Prudential Standards, Heightened Standards, Dodd-Frank and the resulting implications to enterprise risk governance requirements.
Must have 2 years experience with supporting or leading risk management proposal development and presentation process in a consulting firm or similar experience presenting internal business proposals/business cases within the banking and capital markets, asset management, or insurance industries.
Must have 2 years of experience managing resources, project management, budgets and billing/payments related to enterprise risk management projects.
Must have 4 years of risk management consulting experience (including current state/future-state assessments, business process redesign, and target operating models) OR 4 years of experience in a second line of defense risk management role or risk management project role within the financial services industry with a focus on designing and building components of the risk management life cycle (including risk identification and profiling, risk assessment and measurement, risk metrics and monitoring or risk measurement) or risk governance.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 10% may be international, in order to meet client needs.
