The opportunity  

We are rapidly growing our global manufacturing client base and as part of this growth we need someone to work with our Global EY teams to implement our Smart Factory Solutions.  This role will be at the forefront of working with the EY teams on our client sites deploying our leading Smart Factory Solutions, so if you want to really know what leading global companies are doing in Industry 4.0 and want to be part of building the perfect way of deploying the technologies this role is for you.  As you will be working with EY teams across the globe and in multiple industries you will be able to influence both what EY develops in the Smart Factory space and own the deployment methodologies we use.  Although this is working with global teams as much of the work is remote support the location is flexible and working from home or a local office is a possibility.

 

Your key responsibilities

·  Working as part of the client activation team, this role will manage the relationship between EY Catalyst and the internal client, account and software development teams.  Engaging the EY team team during the sales process you will support them though the planning, scoping and contracting part of the process.  You will then project manage the deployment process with the EY teams post sales to provide guidance and training to the teams relating to the configuration and integration methodology.  This also includes aligning with the EY internal teams leading the client configuration and ongoing software development.  In addition, always striving for process improvement this role will proactively and reflectively review processes to build, improve, develop and future proof them where possible.
·  Project Managing the client activation and deployment activities between the Account team and the software development team, this role will ensure that PMO, costs, subscriptions, onboarding, training and capability building of the EY Account team and the client are developed and executed to timelines and in line with the deployment plan they devised, providing regular status reports to key stakeholders.  The role holder will also be involved in co-developing the necessary project deliverables, leveraging the EY Smart Factory solution, and supporting its delivery.
·  Supporting and providing input into the prioritization of product improvements based on feedback from Account and Client Teams including relevant development work i.e. authoring or reviewing product content this role will be involved in facilitating and improving communication throughout the process.
·  Managing communication and providing updates to key stakeholders regarding product improvements, including translation, and collaborating with account teams to document key elements this role will enable continual knowledge building around the value add and importance to the client for use in future sales activity.
·  Responsible for the documenting of ‘Learn From Experience’ opportunities for each client engagement.  This role will ffacilitate the development and improvement of standard deployment methodologies, including new solutions, documenting knowledge building and deployment support materials as required.
·  Responsible for the upkeep of material and liaison with relevant teams, for example BMC, to ensure content is maintained and shared across key stakeholders this role will own the delivery model for the product category, lead the updating of the material and training the global deployment teams on all updates and changes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

·  Manufacturing Operations Technology (OT) systems knowledge, conversant in what typical shop floor systems do and what constraints exist in typical implementations is also essential
·  Knowledge of factory shop floor equipment data collection and management systems is essential
·  Working experience of Manufacturing is essential, as is knowledge of MS Office-type applications (including word processing and spreadsheet apps)
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project delivery and project management, and in deploying or working with Operational Technology systems in a manufacturing environment
·  Experience of IWS/OpEx content and deployment is favourable.

 

Other Requirements:

·  As this role is part of a global team, some travel may be required, however this role could be home based as a primary location.

Education:

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree is preferred

Experience:

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing project delivery and project management, and in deploying or working with Operational Excellence and data systems in a manufacturing environment
