The opportunity

EY’s Global Compensation Services team provides an end to end compensation data accumulation and reporting service to large global organisations. Our service streamlines compensation management to support tax compliance, while also providing clients with data analytics to assist in understanding and managing the cost of mobility and supporting strategic decision making.We are looking for an Experienced Consultant to join our Global Compensation Services team, part of our Global Mobility practice based in Sydney & Melbourne. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.

Your key responsibilities

·  Work with data automation software to streamline processing and payroll calculations
·  Work with EY offices and client contacts across the globe to co-ordinate collection and reporting of compensation data for tax, compensation, payroll and social security compliance
·  Analyse and interpret compensation data from multiple sources including payroll and non-cash benefit information, using automation tools to create efficient processes for managing large volumes of data on a timely basis
·  Assist to design and create data analytics dashboards to meet clients’ needs
·  Mentor and train junior team members

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

·  Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
·  High level of attention to detail
·  Strong excel skills, ie able to use basic formulae, pivot tables etc
·  Innovative mindset, with a focus on process improvement

To qualify for the role you must have

·  At least 1 year of experience in using coding language and visualisation software to streamline a process or present big data
·  General experience in tax, accounting, finance or payroll or experience in data management and/or analysis

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Automation technology
·  Working across a global network
·  Cross border payroll including shadow payroll services
