The opportunity
 

Your role as a Senior Consultant will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, often interacting at an implementation team member level for EAM clients, resulting in increased value and efficiency. You’ll help to mentor, coach and counsel their team members and help EY build an inclusive culture and high-performing teams.

Your key responsibilities

The EAM Senior will provide Maximo implementation consulting services to EAM clients, helping them improve work and asset management capabilities.

 

·  Help mentor, coach and counsel client team members and help EY build an inclusive culture and high-performing teams
·  Maximize operational efficiencies on engagements
·  Perform functional tasks, including functional requirements development, configuration, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades
·  Possess or gain a solid understanding of the applications’ functionality, intended processes, uses and features that business partners can leverage during their daily work
·  Have experience working with users and development staff on issues and efforts related to the implementation of Maximo
·  Have experience working with EAM systems, reporting and other technologies
·  Have knowledge of Agile software development and project management techniques
·  Interact with users to obtain information and share information needed for successful system implementation, upgrades, usage and maintenance experience
·  Enhance our brand through strong external relationships across a network of existing and future clients
·  Provide strategic and relevant insight, connectedness and responsiveness to all clients to anticipate their needs
·  Support opportunity pursuits and practice development initiatives
·  Promote an effective forum for sharing EAM expertise
·  Strengthen our collective EAM knowledge, helping resolve our clients’ EAM challenges

·  You’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels.

·  By drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership. You'll actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives.
·  In line with our commitment to quality, you'll consistently drive projects to completion and determine that the work is of a high quality. Your role in leading teams or parts of teams on engagements will depend on the size of the engagement and will be under the responsibility of higher levels. They will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate.
·  As an influential member of the team, you'll help create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them develop.

To qualify for the role you must have  

·  A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related field 
·  A minimum of  two to three years of related work experience or a graduate degree and two years of related work experience
·  Business process design experience and the ability to create functional requirements for Maximo implementations
·  Good communication skills and proficiency with supporting applications
·  A minimum of one to two years of experience delivering consulting services to Maximo clients
·  Experience participating in teams and supporting engagement economics and business development
·  Flexibility to work across consulting services if needed
·  Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license and US passport required

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field
·  Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
·  Experience working with condition based or predictive asset maintenance technologies
·  Infor EAM product experience a major plus
·  EAM configuration tools desired
