Job Summary:

The Digital Producer is responsible for the publishing of content across internal and external knowledge sites and supporting content management needs of one or more communities within the firm.  This involves applying firm web publishing templates and standards to production-ready content, and use of global process and systems that comprise the firm's content management infrastructure.   

The primary objective for this role is to ensure that optimized content is delivered to practitioners at the point of need via the most relevant internal and external sites.  The production process includes enhancing content copy, publishing web pages and documents, selecting and optimizing graphics/imagery as relevant, content migration, sanitization of shareable knowledge assets, content quality review, compliance with web templates, and EY visual brand identity and site standards. 

Purpose of the Job:

Performs web publishing, selection and optimization of graphics/imagery as relevant, content migration, sanitization of shareable knowledge assets, and compliance with web templates, EY visual brand identity and site standards.

Reviews and edits document information forms for consistency and accuracy of information.  

· 
Utilizes technical ability and manages content updates received from a Lead producer and, with minimal instruction, makes the necessary, corresponding changes (edits, document additions, document removals) in Microsoft SharePoint or web-based content management system.  

· 
Communicates status effectively with team leaders keeping them apprised of project status. Identifies problems. Propose potential solutions and best practices. Seeks guidance when necessary.  

· 
Follow instructions as per request, responding to basic requests and involving other appropriate team members and seek guidance where appropriate. 

· 
Contributes actively and shares insight in team discussions.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Experience of working on Microsoft SharePoint or similar content management systems is required.

Proficiency with typical MS Office tools (Word, Excel, IE), as well as a comfort level with technology.

Basic knowledge on web/production technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS is required. 

· 
Must perform with a high degree of accuracy. 

· 
Ability to work independently with only periodic updates to supervisor. 

· 
Ability to read and write english
