EY’s Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) practice supports clients across different domains: Supply Chain, Procurement, Operational Excellence (both in Manufacturing and Services Organizations) and Smart Factory. In this role as consultant your main focus will be Operational Excellence for Supply Chain. Additionally you have the flexibility to work in the other domains.
· In our Supply Chain domain we help leading companies with for example their Global Business Services vision, strategy development, strategy implementation, Demand Planning transformation or a procurement spend analysis.
· As a consultant your role will be to lead a sub project within client engagements. You will work independently as well as in teams at our clients, supporting them with improving their business performance. You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyse the problems of the client, and report the findings and results.
· Drawing on your knowledge, skills and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.
· You will play an active rol and also contribute to the EY SC&O team internally by developing project proposals, solutions, trainings, and thought leadership.
What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future
· Minimum of 1 year work experience in a Supply Chain environment (Consulting or business)
· A Master's degree preferably in the field of Business, Operations management, Supply Chain Management or a technical/engineering discipline or similar studies.
· You are analytical and have a structured way of working, strong in conceptual thinking. You have a great drive and are enthusiastic.
· You are able to effectively team with stakeholders with different levels of seniority.
· Fluent in English & Dutch is a must, any additional European language such as French, Spanish, Italian or Polish is a plus. Flexibility with working abroad.
