About Program Mercury
Program Mercury is a large, multi-year, enterprise-wide process transformation that will replace more than 1400 EY business systems and related processes with an integrated, SAP centric platform that will standardize and harmonize activities throughout the organization and significantly improve how EY manages its business. Program Mercury directly supports the efforts of a number of transformation initiatives across the Firm by streamlining the application portfolio, reducing operating costs and providing a platform to deliver services more efficiently.
About the Mercury Support Team (MST)
As an organization jointly owned by the business and IT, the MST is a centralized and global organization which will provide operational support for the delivered Mercury solution and manage and support the Mercury user community. The MST will play an integral role in governance of the Mercury solution and the global template from both a business and IT perspective and will evolve to work closely with the business in enabling the benefit and value to be realized from the investment in Program Mercury and to set the future direction and technology road map.
Job Summary:
The MST Transport Coordinator is accountable for the successful planning and co-ordination of releases related to the Mercury landscape along with Daily Operational activities.
This role will work closely with the MST IT Change Management team and the MST/AMS Basis teams to facilitate the promotion of changes across the EY Global landscape. The MST Transport Coordinator will work to try to review and remediate any conflicts prior to the promotion to production of any system changes and escalate any concerns to MST Leadership where substantial risk exists. The MST Transport Coordinator will need to take into consideration Service Level Agreement obligations along with validating the appropriate processes and approvals have been followed to ensure compliance and consistency.
The MST Transport Coordinator will liaise with other functional/technical teams within MST and Program Mercury to minimize the risk of promoting changes into the productive instance. The MST Transport Coordinator will also liaise with teams in broader EY Global to ensure the understanding and impact of changes across the program or project landscapes to minimize the risk of overwrite.
This role will also work with the Cutover team to understand the details of each Cutover and have in depth knowledge of the impact of each release along with documenting any manual activities that may need to take place.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the EY Change Management process and the interdependencies of the various SAP modules used by Mercury and its landscape.
Additionally, the resource will be familiar with SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management in conjunction with the other various tools used by Mercury and MST to conduct daily operations.
Essential Functions of the Job:

· Knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
· Experience with Service, Change, and Release Management within SAP Solution Manager
· Understanding of SAP Transport Management System. (TMS)
· Experience with executing workflows within Live Compare
· Experience in working with multi location teams.
· Ability to lead cross Functional/Technical teams to ensure collaboration and coordination of changes.
· Fluent in English

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

· SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM)
· SAP Infrastructure Resource with understanding of the Transport Management System
· Experience with executing LiveCompare Workflow Reports.
· Ability to understand complex landscapes and provide creative solutions to accommodate landscape demand.
Detailed Responsibilities:

· Ideal candidate will be a self-starter willing to take initiative and learn.
· Independent worker that will be supporting a Global Project across multiple boundaries and time zones.
· Daily coordination and facilitation of activities in conjunction with planning software releases and cutover.
· Ability to work remotely.
Other Requirements:

· Weekend support for cutover will be required but limited to scheduled releases.
Job Requirements
Education:
(What is the minimum level of education needed/suggested to perform this job?)
· A degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience
· 2+ years of SAP support/project experience on a Global Project preferred.
