Job description

This is a technical leadership role for managing the API management team in terms technical direction/architecture as well as team management. Lead a team to build a global application/infrastructure event and log centralization platform that provides real-time insights into application/infrastructure performance, security, and behavioral trends.  Deep experience with API Management, Apigee, Javascript, and Python (Ansible) are strong pluses. 

 

·  3+ years of experience managing a software engineering team
·  5+ years of experience designing and building APIs and backend systems (language platform not so important)
·  Deep knowledge of distributed systems design required
·  Deep knowledge of networking required
·  Knowledge of Linux and Windows required
·  Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards/mechanisms
·  Hands-on experience with Apigee is a huge plus
·  Hands-on experience with Azure is a huge plus
·  Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is a huge plus
·  Experience with API Management platforms and gateways are a huge plus
·  Experience with Azure DevOps and ADO pipelines is a plus
