Compute CPD – Business Manager
The overall purpose of the DO Analyst role is to evaluate, analyze, propose and execute any needs around the following topics to ensure success:
· IBM for CPD vendor management activities, including ownership over processes and frameworks
Responsibilities
· Tracking and Overall Performance of IBM Hours reporting for all Invest Inflight Projects, Client Projects, TEEAS and Supplier Connectivity.
· Make recommendations on effective methods of reporting and usage metrics using data modeling, dashboards and statistical analysis.
· Extract raw data from business databases and data warehouse and perform analytics to produce reports for the forecast of the 275.000 hours contract with IBM.
· Create methods for automating reporting and data analysis to enhance efficiency.
· Analyze reports, processes and any necessary documentation for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.
· Review Resource Plan Consolidation from IBM Databases to correct levels of data quality, applying adjustments accordingly and when properly approved and verified.
· Complete E2E tracking activities for specific deliverables and report appropriately.
· Generate the chargeback/DDI report for Finance related to the IBM hours for Client and MFS projects, TEEAS and Supplier Connectivity.
· Maintain CPD’s site up to date, and act as a promotor for this site
· Act as a contact point for all other Governance organizations within EYT
· Act as the focal point for all related matter across IBM hour actuals reports.
· For topics in the Delivery Office, never allow an issue to be prolonged in time, act upon it, or make sure to delegate accordingly to ensure fast mitigation and long-term resolution plans
· Be a speaker, challenge the status quo, make proposals
Requirements:
· Possesses analytical skills and problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple factors simultaneously
· Demonstrates business knowledge/understanding to manage and meet sponsor and customer needs
· Capable of identifying risks and issues
· Good string understanding of project management methodology, tools, techniques and terminology
· Quick learner and good eye for details
· Good numerical ability and logical thinking
· Good analysis & reporting skills
· Excellent communication and coordination skills
· Should be comfortable with maintaining, manipulating and analyzing large data sets, therefore thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint is a must
· Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and positive attitude to challenges would be added advantage
· Feel comfortable working with people from diverse cultural types
· Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous
· Graduate or studying towards, in Business Administration or System Engineering, or equivalents
· 4+ years of experience in project administration, program administration and/or a PMO
· 1+ years in an IT environment
· Excellent and fluid written, and verbal English language is required
