To enhance our integrated markets plans and fuel future growth, the incumbent will join our Intelligence & Analytics team and work collaboratively across marketing and sales to better leverage and analyze data and provide insights. In this role, you’ll effectively translate market, competitive and business intelligence into business results enabling better-informed decisions.
Succeeding in this role will require natural curiosity, the ability to thrive in grey environments, strong project management, a data-driven mindset with broad financial understanding, and fierce data mining and analysis capabilities.

Key responsibilities
• Proactively and regularly prepare market-based performance reporting and intelligence on various metrics to share with stakeholders, supported by comprehensive, data-backed analysis and insight
• Inform business strategies through proactive research, pipeline analysis and use of leading resources and tools
• Assess and simplify comprehensive information, data and insight tied to our financial performance, market initiatives, and other internal reporting projects to recommend actionable insight, strategies, and tactics
• Work with both forward-looking and historical data to provide forecasting, and identify trends that should be factored into our planning and operational approach
• Immerse yourself in EY’s proprietary tools to deliver globally-consistent financial performance metrics around revenue, margin, sales and pipeline
• Interpret, and guide users through, global and local reports on financial metrics and drivers
• Support pipeline management requests where appropriate
• Work across the marketing and business development functions to provide fact-based intel during annual, quarterly and everyday planning with leadership and the Markets team
• Participate in the firm’s account / revenue planning processes
Skills and attributes for success
• At-ease collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
• Experienced across the spectrum of critical business and data analysis tools (BI and data visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, ThoughtSpot; advanced user proficiency in Excel)
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI
• Ability to write code using VBA, Power Query
• Aptitude for complex systems issues
• Avid problem solver with an analytical mindset
• Curious thinker with the courage to challenge the ‘how’ and the ‘why’
• Keen attention to detail and relentless focus on data integrity
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, very fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to operate collaboratively and flex to social styles
• Thrives in ambiguity or grey situations
• Sound business and financial acumen
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business discipline (finance, accounting, commerce, economics)
• 2-5 years of experience in a financial, business enablement, strategy or business operations capacity
• Experience with data quality, validation and processes in a fast-paced work environment
