Experience:   2 to 5 years

We are looking for a 2D Generalist, who can produce Digital paintings, Concept sketches, Storyboarding and 2D Animation. Your primary responsibility to work as a Storyboard artist/ Illustrator and however you should be flexible to work as a 2D Animator to work effectively in a productive environment. Maintain design skills and a broad knowledge of current design and production techniques.

·  Work close with Art Directors/Project Managers to develop designs and innovative ideas for client deliverables and complete the tasks within production deadlines while being largely self-directed.
·  Work on animation projects from concept through production, effectively prioritizes work, and balances multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines.
·  Excellent skills in digital painting and storybading with a good understanding of character anatomy, perspective, colour, lighting, mood, scale, scene composition with a good eye for detail using digital tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Animate.
·  Should be a good visualiser and able to convert the script into a sequential drawing panels as storyboards and digital backgrounds for multimedia and game deliverables.
·  Minimum 2 years experience in Animation production.
·  Effectively creates layouts with strong typography and appropriate use of color, images and fonts, allowing for readability of type for client deliverables requiring conceptualization of ideas in preparation of original art.
·  You should be a proactive team player with strong work ethic, self-direction and ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving.
·  Able to listen to feedback from other people and constantly critique your own work to achieve the best possible quality.
·  Must be able to work alone or collaboratively, and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
·  A Portfolio demonstrating Concept Art / Digital painting is must.
·  Good to have 2D Animation skills like 1) Good knowledge in Adobe Animate/ Flash, Aftereffects  2) Strong understanding of traditional animation theory 3) Good knowledge of Animation principles (Posing and Rhythm) and ability to produce high quality key frame animation.
·  Proficient and remains up-to-date with graphics software tools and equipment required of the position, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, Premiere, After effects etc.
·  Basic knowledge of 3D softwares (Maya/3ds Max/Blender) and Unity 3D game engine will be an added advantage.
·  Experience in UI design, Icon creation, logo design, typography will be an added advantage.
·  Maintains awareness of “state-of-the-art” techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the design community.
·  Supports firm brand, understands, implements, and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by Ernst & Young, including VI and branding guidelines.
·  May cross-train in additional CSG disciplines to provide flexibility during peak times.
·  Pursues and shares best practices within the department and among GSS/CSG staff.
·  Performs CSG standard electronic file management and archiving.

Analytical/Decision making responsibilities:

Plans and organizes own work and keeps others informed of status and activities.

Knowledge and skills requirements:

·  Portfolio:  A strong portfolio demonstrating Digital paintings, Concept Arts, Storyboards and 2D Animation.
·  Communication skills:  Good communication skills in English are essential as the role requires direct communication with international team members and clients.
·  Tools:  Excellent technical knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate/Flash, Aftereffects,Premiere and related Adobe products are pre-requisits for this role.

Supervision responsibilities:

·  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Graphic Design and/or related discipline, or relevant work experience.

Certification requirements

·  A diploma certificate in multimedia from a reputed institution.
