The opportunity  

Working closely with the Digital User Experience Leader, the Experience Architect will create exceptional digital experiences that position EY as the most distinctive and trusted Professional Services brand.

This role has an exceptional opportunity to unlock the potential of EY's marketing stack and create value through audience management, automation and optimization at scale.

The core responsibility of this role is to lead in the areas of experience architecture, automation and optimization. Additional responsibilities include creation of user journeys and personas, information architecture, wireframing and design.

The role sits in the Global Digital User Experience team, and expands across the whole technology stack, which includes internal and external platforms (ey.com, EY Intranet and more).

Your key responsibilities

·  Create an inspiring vision of the future for digital experiences at EY, using data, automation and optimization at scale to create world-class experiences and increase the ROI of EY's digital activities
·  Partner with the Marketing Automation team to support the creation of a robust marketing system that helps EY to automate and optimize at scale
·  Partner with business stakeholders to map business and audience needs. Create a roadmap of short, medium- and long-term activities for high value audiences.
·  Scan and analyse the EY digital landscape to identify opportunities to develop pilots that help us to demonstrate the value the marketing stack can bring to EY
·  Design multi-touchpoint digital customer journeys that increase the quality of the experience and the effectiveness of EY's digital programs
·  Act as the 'voice of the customer' in multiple projects and forums, using insights to ensure decisions are data-driven and audience-centric
·  Lead user research activities to help us to understand the behaviours, motivations and needs of our audiences
·  Lead the creation of best-in-class digital experiences, partnering with in-house teams and vendors to create information architecture, wireframing and design deliverables

Skills and attributes for success

·  Expertise in experience automation and optimization, with demonstrable experience in implementing successful experience architecture systems
·  Demonstrable expertise in information architecture, wireframing and design
·  Good understanding of design systems and visual design principles
·  Outstanding collaboration skills, high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy, listening skills, ability to connect and work with other team members in a purpose-driven and meaningful way.
·  Excellent briefing and planning skills, able to self-brief and envision what's required to develop successful and complex programs
·  A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
·  Excellent communication and networking skills, able to create presentations and secure buy-in from stakeholders at all levels within the organization, including senior leadership
·  Cultural awareness and sensitivity, as this role will involve daily interaction with countries around the globe
·  Secondary / tertiary roles and responsibilities
·  Represent the Digital User Experience function in projects and forums, substituting the Experience Leader when/if necessary
·  Act as a team leader for the Digital User Experience team, partnering with Design and UAT leads to deliver on the demands of thriving function
·  Help to run the design operations of the team, intaking briefs, negotiating deadlines and delivering end-to-end projects partnering with in-house teams and agencies

To qualify for the role, you must have

·  Strong experience working with digital experiences, data and audiences at scale
·  Strong experience interpreting website analytics and user research activities
·  Strong experience leading the ongoing automation and optimisation of digital channels

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  High level of influencing and networking skills
·  Ability to challenge views/perspectives while securing buy-in from stakeholders
·  Experience with the use of a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to targeted buyers
