EY is investing significantly in the build out of AI services that leverage Microsoft Azure.  This is a rapidly growing area, and you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your skill set to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the AI landscape. You will help our clients navigate the complex world of AI, data science, and analytics.  We’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique perspective on how AI driven experiences can transform and improve their entire organization – starting with key business issues they face.  We are specifically looking to help clients build out AI solutions that leverage structured and unstructured data for insights and engagement, including natural language processing, vision, voice and text analytics, and deployment of innovative solutions like virtual agents (chatbots).  This is a high growth, high visibility area with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career. 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

As an Azure AI Engineer, Senior, you will work with clients to strategize, assess capabilities, architect solutions, and implement a wide variety of tech consulting services such as building virtual agents and other AI driven experiences.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

·  Translating business requirements to technical solutions leveraging strong business acumen.
·  Assisting in the strategy and implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science driven experiences.
·  Collaborating with Microsoft Cloud Solution Architects and Data Platform Engineers in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure platform.
·  Supporting the strategy, planning, and implementation of AI services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments.
·  Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and data mapping for technical design using a use case-based approach that drives the construction of technical data flows.
·  The ability to apply such methods to solve business problems using one or more Azure Data and Analytics services in combination with designing and building AI experiences tailored for a client use case.
·  Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
·  Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks.
·  Participating in large-scale client engagements.  Fostering relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
·  Monitoring progress, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
·  Managing expectations of client service delivery.
·  Effectively managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members.
·  Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Playing an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization

 

 

 

To qualify for the role you must have  

·  Bachelor’s degree, or MS degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
·  At least three years of professional consulting experience in AI and data science with specific experience building virtual agents, chatbots, and other AI driven experiences. Experience with data engineering is a plus.
·  Hands-on experience with AI technologies within Microsoft and Azure ecosystems, with experiences in tools such as Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Services (Microsoft Bot Framework), LUIS, QnA Maker, Azure App Service. Knowledge of integrating experiences with Azure Machine Learning service and Azure Databricks is a plus.
·  Experience leveraging a variety of services to act as data sources such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure EventHub/IoT Hub, etc.
·  Thorough business understanding of AI-driven applications and the ability to communicate with key decision-makers
·  Deep understanding of statistical modeling, natural language processing, and AI driven experience design
·  Extensive experience connecting to Data Platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, NoSQL databases, and APIs.
·  Fundamental understanding of ETL, data ingestion/cleansing
·  Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights.
·  Outstanding team player.
·  Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload.
·  Ability to quickly and positively adapt to change.
·  A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

·  Knowledge and experience with Model Management, ideally using Azure ML service
·  Knowledge and experience with one or more cloud available Machine Learning frameworks and tools such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, ONNX, Weka, NumPy, PyMongo, etc.
·  Knowledge of Recommendation engines, scoring systems, A/B testing
·  MS Certifications: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals
