Groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines) within Assurance include External Audit, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Financial Accounting Advisory Services and Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services.

Join Climate Change and Sustainability Services within Assurance and you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team combining Assurance, Tax, Transactions and Advisory experience to help clients understand and manage their climate change issues related to new regulatory requirements, rising stakeholder concerns and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

·  Maintain a strong client focus – work on multiple client engagement teams sharing responsibility, providing support, developing relationships, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
·  Work with leaders in climate change & sustainability across a range of industries; Perform required working procedures; create work products; evaluate and test processes and related controls; participate in client meetings and assist in preparation of reports.
·  Bring potential opportunities for new engagements to the team’s attention. Seek, develop and present ideas to apply EY’s services.
·  Display teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Support colleagues and value others’ contributions.
·  Commit to understanding client/business issues and developing knowledge. Stay abreast of current climate change and sustainability developments relevant to clients businesses. Use technology to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service provide

Qualifications, Education and Certification

·  Suitable candidates will demonstrate experience of providing and ideally also helping win identified programmes. Specifically, they will:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, environment, carbon, CSR or  other sustainability relevant discipline from an accredited university. Holding a master’s degree will be a good asset.
Have at least 3-year experience working on and / or advising Finance/Carbon/Environment/  CSR/ Sustainability related areas. Prior consulting experience an advantage.
·  Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrable leadership, integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
·  Comfortable working under pressure within a team and individually.
·  Ability to think laterally and adapt previous experience and solutions to the project in hand.
·  Excellent presentation skills and an ability to write clearly.
·  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
·  Demonstrate a track record of successful business development activities.
Be willing to travel for short-term assignments.
·  Acquire a good command of English both in writing and oral communication.
